About Save Sand Hill
Help Mr. DiePolder fulfill his vision and wishes
Back in 1978, Mr DiePolder had a vision for the future, one that included a place in Hernando county for Scouting to thrive for generations to come. It was his wish "for the use and benefit" for BSA. "The lands must never be used in any way that can be deemed commercial nor sold or disposed of in any way, shape or form." It was his wish for scouts to have a "sufficiently large enough to enjoy the great outdoors and the beauties and benefits of nature"
Although a technically during the transfer of the deed did not in cumber the property with these stipulations, it was clear in his will what his donation to BSA was intended for.
